I love the chicken rice. It's not the meat that makes the difference here, but the sauce that comes with it. Ooh... savoury delight! It beats Pow Sing and Five Star any day.

Always wash it down with a cuppa Avocado Juice! :)

Kueh Jang Kong, a Malay cake made with flour, coconut milk and brown sugar from Bengawan Solo.

This was new to me. Avocado Coffee. Bengawan Solo (Serangoon Gardens) only has three desserts on its menu and this was one of them. The coffee was sweet, but the avocado helped to ease the sugar content by adding a creamy bite to it.

What I did with the left over Gula Melaka from the Kueh Jong Kong.
