Mum's Cooking

Just had to feature this. I haven't been eating at home for the longest time. Mum made three dishes for dinner today.
  1. Fish with tomatoes and capsicum
  2. Stir-fried cabbage
  3. Pork rib soup with Wai Sun (淮山)
Wai Sun (淮山, Dioscoreae Oppositae, Chinese wild yam, nagaimo, or Japanese mountain yam), is traditionally used as a tonic for the kidney-bladder and spleen-pancreas-stomach organ networks and to improve hormonal and digestive functions. It is rich in DHEA and can be used to stabilize blood sugar, relieve inflammation and relax muscle spasms.
