Week before National Day 2009

I caught Sing Dollar at the Esplanade last Sunday, and we had lunch at Ichiban Boshi.I do like eating croquette. This was served with the usual Tonkatsu sauce, and a very yummy salmon dip.A plate of mixed sushi. It's missing an extra Californian roll because the Mister was terribly hungry.I loved this. It was a double salmon hana thingie. Pardon the labelling.
It came in a set of three.
The Salmon Tataki was good, but I would have preferred it better if it was slightly more chilled, instead of lukewarm. The meal came up to about 40 plus dollars. It's not a bad place to grab a bite, but I would defer to Sushi Tei if I ever need a sashimi fix.

We googled and found this gem on line for dinner that evening. The XO Fish Bee Hoon was good, but it didn't hit the umami spot for me.This is probably one of the best Prawn Paste Chicken dishes I have ever tasted in my entire life. Succulent, juicy, crispy, sinful.Name of Stall:

Only a bowl of Curry Yong Tau Foo with guotiao would make a lunch at 4pm bearable. I had this at the Anchor Point Koufu outlet.
